Uses: Congestive heart failure, treatment of rapid heart rates associated with the heart rhythm disturbances atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter, treatment of a very rapid heart rate called paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT)
Comment: Digoxin slows the heart in atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter and PSVT. It also improves the strength of the heart and is therefore used to treat patients with congestive heart failure.
